17th December 'Partner’s Club Night - Christmas Party and Buffet'. Our traditional party/buffet was very well supported and our thanks go to Tony Phillips for the organisation and to John and Josie Price for the food and drink.

3rd December 'Partner's Club Night - Christmas Quiz'. Keeping up recent tradition, Ray and Karen Brooker's  Christmas quiz was postponed until a later date.

5th November 'Partner's Club Night - Fireworks' Once again we ‘celebrated’ the Gunpowder Plot with our usual display of pyrotechnics orchestrated this year by Tony Phillips and Kevin Fowler.  When all was finished the crowd retreated to the bar where John Price provided a feast of food while Josie managed the liquid side of things.

1st October 'Partner's Club Night - Kris Keys Kwik Kwiz' Keeping the recent trend going, the latest scheduled attempt at a quiz has again been postponed.

3rd September 'Partner's Club Night - Boule Competition' has been postponed until later date.

Photo Gen-IC Fun Run and BBQ August 17th. With 'first past the post' Adrian L'Estrange/Andy Greenland being relegated to third by way of Rob Brook's penalty system, victory went to the team of Tony/Val Phillips and Neil/June Whitehead.  White Mark Farm was the scene for the post event barbeque.  Thanks go to Rob who travelled down from Yorkshire for the weekend to setup this year's challenge.

20th July Uxbridge Autoshow   With no field for the Autotest, the Club held a static display of cars.  More details when available.

2nd July 'Partner's Club Night  – Spring (?) Crossword Quiz'. Chris Keys's rescheduled quiz was again been postponed due to work commitments.  Hopefully we can reschedule it for later in the year.

June 4th 'Partner's Club Night - Mike's Meander'. We ventured outside tonight to seek out the answers to Mike Cawthra's questions about the club house and surrounding grounds.  Thankfully, the day's fantastic weather continued into the evening and I'm glad to be able to report that the event was won by 'The Bar Team' tonight comprising of Kirstin, Pete and Malc Farmer (we should have been called The Jolly Farmers!).  Thanks go to Mike for the organisation.

Saturday 17th May Skittles Evening at The Greyhound in Eton Wick.  Although numbers were lower than last year, this actually gave the benefit of a quicker turn around for participants and and was felt, by those present, to be better.  Thanks go to Pete Farmer for organising the evening - especially when he, along with Tony Phillips and Ray Bell, set off afterwards to team up with Andy Greenland and take part in this years Miglia Quadrato!

May 7th 'Partner's Club Night - Spring Crossword Quiz'. Unfortunately, with last minute work commitments preventing Chris from being at Club, his quiz has been postponed.  Hopefully we will now reschedule this for sometime in August.

MCAC Annual General Meeting 23rd April 2008 There were a higher number of changes taking place this year for various reasons.  Top of the list was the news that Adrian L’Estrange had decided to stand down from the position of President and John Williams was duly elected in his place.  Congratulations to John and our thanks to Adrian who retires having recently completed his long term aim of publishing the Club's history.  Adrian was duly elected to the position of Vice President along with Tom Ryan who resigns from the Council as a result of this move.  Ray Brooker and Paul Brown were then re-elected to the Council whilst Pete Cook, Kathleen Dawson, Kevin Dawson and Paul Hopkinson decided not to stand this year.  Our congratulations go to all new appointees along with our thanks to those who have stood down.

26th March 'Partner's Evening - One Hundred Motoring Milestones' Adrian L'Estrange was on hand to sign copies of his new book on the history of MCAC. Then he gave us a brief insight into the journey that he had taken over the last three and a half years whilst researching the archives.  Some interesting facts to accompany the book which, even without reading, is some achievement!.  Well done Adrian!  'One Hundred Motoring Milestones' details the Club's history over the 100 years since its foundation in 1905 has been released in hardback, containing 504 pages (including 40 colour and b&w plates).  It is available from the publishers mcacmilestones@btinternet.com at £20 plus £2.65 p+p or through Tony Philips and save the post and packing (26.03.08).

5th March 'Partner’s Club Night - Old Bag Quiz' was won by Dave Taylor/Martin Mansell.  Thanks go to Christine Poxon for the organisation.

6th February 'Table Top Rally' This event, which attracted a field of half a dozen entries, was won by Andy Greenland.  Thanks go to Tony Phillips for the organisation.

26th January: The Club's Annual Dinner-Dance and Presentation of Awards was held at Stockley Park on Saturday.   As usual, this excellent event was organised by Peter and Sarah Nathan.  Kevin Fowler was recipient of the only Special Award present this year - the President's Award which was presented this year by Adrian L'Estrange  himself.  Adrian was on hand to tell everybody about his forthcoming book ' One Hundred Motoring Milestones' being the story of MCAC.
