Championship Secretary Pete Farmer would like to remind everyone to submit their claim forms to him as soon as possible for the championship year that ended on the 30th November.  The original deadline of 15th December has now been extended to around the end of the year.

Information from The Endurance Rally Association:  On Motors, January 1st at 5.0pm there is a one hour program on the Lombard Revival Rally. Then, on Men and Motors, starting January 18th at 7.0pm, there is a new eight-part documentary series, being broadcast with a look back at the revival of World Cup Rallies....repeated on Monday at 13.00hrs, Wednesday at 19.00hrs, Thursday at 13.00hrs and again at 21.00hrs, and finally Friday at 16.00hrs, and its like that for the next eight weeks, with around 12 hours of coverage given over to the World Cup Rally and the 2nd Sahara Challenge for historics into Tunisia's Sahara Desert. Each Sunday sees a new instalment, repeated at these durations during the week.

Useful Christmas Gift: As Christmas approaches and we search the shops for that 'something special' perhaps this handy utility will be on many peoples shopping lists. Click here for an image.

Last weekend's Hunters Night Trial, which was won by Martin Sherlock and Andy Greenland, had just five entries!.  A lot of work goes into the organisation of events such as this and when levels of support are this low it is very disappointing.  The real danger is that the organisers interest will also ebb away and then the event will be lost completely.

Brian Catt has received details of Christmas book offers from Haynes online,  Click here to see details (MCAC password id MIAD).

It's that time of the year again: 2003 Award Winners are asked to return their trophies to John Roseblade as soon as possible especially if any repair work is needed.  We need to make sure that everything is in tip top condition for this January's event at The RAC Club in Pall Mall.

Highlights of The SofE Tempest Stages can apparently be seen on CHANNEL 4 this Sunday Morning, 14th November from 07:30 to 08:00. The listings note "As the Kwik-Fit Pirelli British Rally Championship comes to southern England it also reaches the final showdown. Mike Brewer and Robbie Head will be watching this thrilling finale to a classic season."

No more room at the inn: Kathleen Dawson  advises me that all remaining rooms at the The RAC Club in Pall Mall have now been taken for those wishing to stay over after the Club's Centenary Dinner in January.

Paul Hopkinson hit 40 at the end of October!!  Click to enlarge these photos of Paul through the ages.

Centenary Dinner: Kathleen Dawson advises me that, as of October 26th, there are now only 2 single rooms available at The RAC Club for those wishing to stay over after the Club's Centenary Dinner in January.  All the doubles have gone, and one couple are having to have a single room each. The moral is, book earlier for the next centenary dinner!

Website Revisions: During the first weekend in October, almost all of the website was revised/reloaded.  You should not notice any differences as all the revisions were behind the scenes to layouts.  However, if something has suddenly stopped working.... please let me know.

Centenary Dinner: As of October 4th, there are now only 4 single rooms available at The RAC Club for those wishing to stay over after the Club's Centenary Dinner in January.  Contact Kathleen Dawson for further information.

Championship Secretary Pete Farmer advises that his email is once again back up and running so he can be contacted direct now.

The Middlesex Challenge Table is now available from the Points webpage - see side bar.

Do you know of anyone who would like to join the MCAC?  If so you can download the application form here and then forward it to the Membership Secretary, Brian Catt.  Alternatively, contact Brian – on 020 8952 9404 (but not after 10.00pm please) or email: brianc@mcac.co.uk.  Membership rates are shown on the application form.

Please remember, if you are successful on any events - we would love to note it on both the website and in the magazine.  Please send details to Malc Farmer or Chris Keyes.  If nothing else, it will then be on record and make life a lot easier when a future committee starts trawling through the records for the 200 year centenary in 2105!

2003 Uxbridge Autotest - At long last a selection of photos that Max took at the 2003 event are now up on the web.  Click here for the shortcut.

MCAC Forum: Simon Tappin has put together a club forum.  The link is http://www.transhost.net/mcac/forum and you can register now!

The RAC have now allocated a further 4 double rooms for the 29th January.  Unfortunately, this info arrived while I was away so it is already somewhat dated and you should contact Kathleen Dawson as soon as possible if you are interested.

Kathleen Dawson tells me that over 80 tickets have now been reserved for the Centenary Awards Evening next January so places are going fast.  Also, for those wishing to stay in London overnight, there are now only 4 singles left at the Royal Automobile Club for the 29th January.  Kathleen will be busy for the next week so room reservations by email please.  These will be allocated on the basis of time of emailing as the fairest method with confirmations being sent as soon as time permits.

June's Partner's Evening is being rescheduled for the second club night of the month - 9th June.  Pete Farmer is organising 'softball' and 'bowls' outside whilst John Price is putting on a barbeque.  All subject to the weather of course!

The Mayhem 12-Car Rally scheduled for 14th May has been cancelled.

Tony Phillips has compiled 'A Brief History of MCAC' and this can be found on the history page.  If anyone can expand on the information or give other details regarding any Club activities over the years, please let him know.

MCAC Annual General Meeting 2004: The Club's AGM took place on Wednesday 21st April 2004.  Our thanks to Peter Cook, Clare Samuel and Simon Tappin who decided not to stand for re-election to the Council of Management and to Mike Hurst who retired as Treasurer.  Congratulations go to our new Treasurer, Mike Cawthra and to Rob Brooks, Mike Hurst and Andrew Stacey who join the Council.  In addition, the meeting agreed the funding for the 2005 Centenary Awards evening which is to be held at The RAC Club in Pall Mall.  For further details of this please contact Kathleen Dawson

Information Needed! If you are the organiser of an MCAC event please send details (and regs) in plenty of time to enable the info to be posted on this site. Also, please send results, write ups and photos of any past events.  We cannot develop the archive side of this website without your help. Many thanks Malc Farmer

The MCAC Fashion Show & Regalia Extravaganza took place on Wednesday 3rd March at the club. See the Regalia page for details of the latest gear or contact Hazel Hopkinson.

MCAC Awards 2004 The Annual Dinner & Awards Evening took place on Saturday 31st January 2004 at Gerrard's Cross Sports Centre. Click here for the pictures.
