The Abrook Arms in Uxbridge was, in days gone by, the venue for MCAC club nights but who are this lot! Click on the picture to see an enlarged view. Tony apparently dug this out of his files. Update from Brian Catt..... The pic outside Abrook Arms is before going to the Wexford National Rally 19/20 Sept 1981. From Left to Right we have: - 1. Mike Berry and Jason Nairnsey. Hillman Imp Sport. 2. John (Kermit) Sheldon and Duncan Jordan, Sunbeam Imp Sport. 3. Alan Bishop and wife Gwen, Sunbeam Imp Sport. 4. Graham Hyde and Mike Hurst, Hillman Imp Sport. I can't find anything in the Club Mags of that time (yet), but I don't think Gwen co-drove, that job, I think , fell to Finbar Murphy. The specs of some of the cars is revealed in the "sell-off-the remnants" adverts in later magazines! All the best, Brian.
