Subaru: Finland's Mikko Hirvonen will drive for Subaru in the World Rally Championship next year in place of Richard Burns. Subaru have confirmed that they would not be offering the drive to their 1995 world champion Colin McRae. McRae, who said he was bitterly disappointed by the decision, is now unlikely to take part in the 2004 championship.

Hunters Night Trial 2003: The Hunters was won by Garry Elswood and Andy Greenland.


Wales Rally GB 2003:
Sunday 9th November 2003: Petter Solberg, co driven by Welshman Phil Mills, has clinched his first world rally championship by winning the Wales Rally GB. His winning margin over title challenger Sebastien Loeb was 43.6 seconds .  Loeb started the rally one point ahead of Solberg but was restricted by team orders from Citroen who wanted to ensure that they won the Manufacturers crown.  Solberg is the first Norwegian to take the drivers' crown.

South of England Tempest 2003: Sunday 26th October 2003: Jari-Matti Latvala wins the Tempest in his Ford Focus WRC01.
