herts stages rally 27 june 2021
The inaugural Hertfordshire Stages Rally is due to take place on Sunday, 27th June 2021. A closed-road multi-venue event, there will be four stage routes that will run as a three-time loop, making 12 stages in total.
These will use rural roads in Central and East Herts and the competitive stage action will take place between 9am and 5pm. The organising clubs expect a full entry of spectacular cars, driven skillfully at half-minute intervals through the stages… while spectators enjoy BBQs and other fun activities along the route. The Hertfordshire Stages Rally promises to be well attended and provide spectacular entertainment for spectators and competitors alike as some of the best cars in the country tackle the challenging stages. Likely to establish itself quickly into the rally calendar, the event brings motorsport to Hertfordshire and there are great opportunities available for sponsorship and support at all levels. Event Director, Paul Jeeves, comments: “The Hertfordshire Stages Rally is the biggest and most impressive motorsport event to be held in the county for many years. We have had a very positive and encouraging response from the locals living along the route with most people excited by the prospect of such a major event running past their homes. The character of the stages, whether twisting or undulating will make this a most memorable rally.”
