Navigational Scatters

2010 TrackerHants and Berks Tracker 2010 13th June 2010: The Hants and Berks Tracker has been won by MCAC's Pete Farmer and Andy Green land for the fourth year in succession.  Thirteen crews assembled at the Autoscribe offices in Riseley where the crews were able to plot the route in comfort. The route was split into twenty four sections, crews having to answer questions from fifteen of them. Section scores were awarded according to distance to be travelled or difficulty in plotting the route. The clues were spread from Hungerford in the west to almost High Wycombe in the east, and from High Wycombe (Lane End) in the North to the bottom of OS maps174 and 175 in the south.  Andy and Pete managed to answer the required fifteen sections while travelling a total of 190 miles. For a change, they were able to walk into the pub at the finish rather than the frantic dash and search for the organisers hiding somewhere in the pub.   Thanks are extended to Hants and Berks Motor Club for inviting MCAC to enter the event, to Bill Bonney who supplied the regs and special thanks go to John Boother for the obvious amount of hard work put in in organising the event.  We now look forward to next year to see if they can make it five wins in a row.  Picture: Pete Farmer and Andy Greenland receive the Tracker trophy from organiser John Boother.
