Thank you to everyone for supporting the MiddleWick Stages 2011 at MOD Woodbridge, especially the officials and marshals, who ensured that a good day was had by all. Without their help and assistance it just would not be possible to run the event. Thanks are also due to the staff and personnel at MOD Woodbridge, for allowing us the use of the venue, and to Chelmsford Motor Club for the use of their equipment.
A special thanks to those that helped with the clear-up, which meant that we were able to leave the site by 6.30 pm - not bad considering the amount of equipment that was spread around the large venue!
Congratulations to Gavin Rogers / Holly Bailey on winning this year’s event in their Mk II Ford Escort, after turbo problems side-lined the previous winners, Richard Upton / Paul Bareham, on stage 5.
As you know, we were supporting two charities this year - the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre for cancer support and information at Mount Vernon Hospital and the Isabel Hospice at Welwyn Garden City – and, through your generosity, we raised over £700 which, with the ‘Gift Aid’ initiative, provides over £900 split between the 2 charities.
A marshals’ draw was held after the event and we offer our congratulations to the winners:-

Our next event is the Rockingham Stages on 10/11th December - another awesome venue offering 80+ miles in 10 stages over the 2 days at Rockingham Motor Speedway. With 3 stages in the dark, you will need those spotlights!
And we will be back at Woodbridge next year.
