A huge thank you to all the competitors, marshals and officials who braved the weather to ensure that a good day was had by all and a special thanks to those that helped with the clear-up, which meant that we were able to leave the venue by 7.00pm - not bad considering the amount of equipment that was spread around the venue!
Despite a slow start, in the end we had 50 entries, although we could have accommodated more, and would appreciate receiving them a little earlier, so that we are not on tenderhooks as to whether the eent will run or not.
Congratulations to Richard Upton/Paul Bareham on repeating their win from last year after a day-long fight with Pete Rayner/Louise Earthy, finally settled when Pete suffered a puncture near the end of the last stage.
Our next event is the Rockingham Stages in December - another awesome venue with night stages - and we will be back at Woodbridge next year.Tony Phillips. Secretary of the Meeting
